Inside the bizarre world of Emmanuel Adebayor: Measuring a dwarf called Pako Rabane he took in off the streets, a briefcase full of cash and £600 bottles of champagne

Former Tottenham, Arsenal and Crystal Palace striker showcases his surreal summer in Togo on social media

WHILE Premier League stars return to their clubs for pre-season training, Emmanuel Adebayor is measuring a dwarf in Togo.

Hanging out with Pako Rabane, showing off a briefcase full of cash and opening up £600 bottles of champagne - it's all in a day's work for the zany 32-year-old striker.

The former Arsenal star - who left Crystal Palace at the end of last season - has been enjoying home comforts in Togo.

Bizarrely, though, they include measuring with a tape measure the height of his "bro" Pako, who, by the way, Adebayor thinks is just 15cm tall.

A message on the striker's official Instagram account jokingly claimed his mate lost his height after a "grenade was thrown at him".

The two are clearly good friends but, even by the ex-Real Madrid and Man City star's standards, this is surreal, if endearing, behaviour.

On top of that, Ade shows off a pile of cash in different currencies inside a briefcase.

He enjoys meals and wine with friends at what appears to be his house, relaxes next to a shisha pipe and busts out some dance moves with Pako.

Apparently, Adebayor took in his pal "from the streets" according to Pako's Instagram.

He goes on to say: "I have been through a lot in my life but this guy took me from the streets and put me in his house.

"He always makes sure I don't miss anything."

Adebayor is currently a free agent after last being linked to West Ham.
