Sergio Aguero confirms he’s recovered from coronavirus and will return to training after missing last SEVEN games
SERGIO AGUERO says he’s finally recovered from coronavirus,
And the Manchester City ace is targeting a return to training shortly after missing the last SEVEN games.
Aguero, 32, has managed just two goals in nine matches across all competitions this term after being hit by injuries.
The Argentine’s season then got worse when he was forced to self-isolate at the start of the year after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.
Being in quarantine saw Aguero miss four games, which were all victories against Birmingham, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
However, the veteran then tested positive for Covid-19 himself.
And Aguero also sat out wins over Cheltenham, West Brom and Sheffield United.
But the hitman has now revealed he’s completely recovered from coronavirus.
And after hitting the gym at City’s immense training complex, Aguero adds he will soon be back in training with his team-mates.
The ace said in an Instagram story: “Fully recovered from Covid-19.

“I was at the club’s gym today and soon I’ll be back training with my teammates. Can’t wait.”
Despite his recovery, Aguero is highly unlikely to play any role in Wednesday’s trip to Burnley.
And there will also be doubts over his involvement against champions Liverpool next weekend.
Indeed, the FA Cup clash against Championship side Swansea on February 10 could be an ideal time for Aguero to make his playing return.
But the ace will soon have to look to the future as his City deal runs out this summer.
Pep Guardiola has remained tight-lipped over his future amid reports City are targeting a new striker.
Aguero joined the club from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has scored 256 goals in 379 games.
He’s inspired City to four Premier Leagues, five Carabao Cups and one FA Cup in that time.
Aguero also has 41 goals in 97 international games for Argentina and remains a key member of their set-up.
