Sebastien Haller ACCIDENTALLY left out of Ajax’s Europa League squad despite joining in club-record deal from West Ham

AJAX have sensationally left record signing Sebastien Haller out of their Europa League squad by accident.
The Dutch giants landed the striker for £20million in January and he has made an instant impact with two goals and four assists in his first six appearances.
Like every club in the Europa League, Ajax were asked to submit their new 25-man squad list after the transfer window shut.
However eyebrows were raised when Haller's name was nowhere to be seen ahead of the knockout matches.
With fans questioning his absence on social media, Ajax were forced to admit the mistake with a statement.
A club spokesman told "It is indeed true that Haller is not on our Europa League list of players.
"We are working with the KNVB and UEFA to find out where things went wrong.”
If it is proven that Ajax were to blame for the error, then Haller will be forced to sit out of the competition.
