JOSE MOURINHO has promised Henrikh Mkhitaryan will make a quick and effective impact at Manchester United.
That is a statement that will be music to the ears of United fans - who have seen some flops in the last couple of years at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal and David Moyes both signed decent players for United - but big question marks have been raised over whether they were suited to lighting up the Stretford End.
While the likes of Anthony Martial, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera have undoubtedly done well at United while Ashley Young - signed by Sir Alex Ferguson - Marouane Fellaini and Marcos Rojo continue to divide opinion.
Fellaini was even snapped smoking a cigar on holiday in Ibiza, which will no doubt leave Mourinho unimpressed.
The Red Devils faithful are getting fed up with dud signings and Mourinho is determined to turn that around with Mkhitaryan, Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - as well as at least one other name.
The Portuguese said: "Henrikh is a very talented footballer who has been in such prolific form for both his club and his country.
"He is a real team player with great skill, vision and also has a good eye for goal.
"I am delighted he has chosen to sign for United.
"I believe he will make an impact on the team very quickly as his style of play is suited to the Premier League. We are looking forward to working with him."
The challenge for United is to score more goals than they did last term with 49 in the top flight under Van Gaal - a paltry effort for the biggest goalscorers in Prem history.
And Mkhitaryan, 27, will have the opportunity to shine straight away - AGAINST his former club Dortmund - as United take to the field in the International Champions Cup on July 22 in Shanghai.
