Arsenal are set to make a move for Djibril Sidibe after the french defender caught the eye of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.
Monaco had agreed a fee with Lille for the 23 year old but the move has stalled due to Arsenal's late interest according to French newspaper .
Apparently Wenger has made Sidibe one of his main transfer targets as he looks to beat his old club to his signing as cover for both full back positions.

The move could possibly signal the end of Kieran Gibbs at Arsenal he has been linked to moves away from the Emirates in the last 6 months and a signing of a young full back could well push him further to the exit door.
The North Londoners came up short again in the Premier League title race and with the injury list never short of a defenders name Wenger will be eager to bring in numbers.
