They did their part this afternoon by picking up all three points in a comfortable 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Ibrox.

Thousands of Rangers fans had already gathered outside Ibrox earlier today to greet team on their arrival.

And the players and staff ran to the stadium gates following the full-time whistle to celebrate with those still in the area.

But the team took their party back to the dressing room as they looked forward to clinching the title.

And in some brilliant videos that have emerged on social media, Gerrard can be seen dancing with his players in the centre of the room.

As they all dance in a circle, the Rangers stars can be heard singing I'm Feeling It (In the Air) together.

While in other footage from the celebrations, the likes of Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack can all be seen with their team-mates chanting Alfredo Morelos' name.

The players can also be seen with what appears to be bottles of beer as they dance around the room.

Meanwhile, speaking after the game, Gerrard called for understanding in regards to the fans gathering at Ibrox despite lockdown restrictions.

He said: “I’ve got to get my words right here - we are still experiencing and are involved in a pandemic.

“It’s important fans try to stay humble and safe.

“That’s the priority - fans’ safety and people’s safety. I totally understand that.

“But at the same time, if you’ve got anything inside you or any part of your heart can understand what the fans have been through, you can totally understand what’s gone on outside this stadium.

“It’s my job to try and control that. Safety is paramount at the moment but it’s tough because it has been an emotional three years for me.

“The fans have been here for much longer than that and have been through a lot in ten years. So you can certainly understand it."
