Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs set to make sensational comeback to football by joining the Indian Futsal League
Welsh wizard set to join former Old Trafford team-mate Paul Scholes in the inaugural season of the star-studded tournament - of which Portugal star Luis Figo is president
RYAN GIGGS is set to sensationally come out of retirement to return to PLAYING football.
The Manchester United legend, 42, recently left his assistant manager's role at Old Trafford following the arrival of former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
The decision sparked the end of a 29-year career for the Welsh wizard in Manchester following an incredible playing career.
But now Giggs, rather than looking to kick-start a managerial career, looks primed to join former team-mate Paul Scholes in the big-name stacked Indian Futsal League.
On top of that, Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has already signed up to play - alongside former Blues and AC Milan icon Hernan Crespo.
It was Scholes who got the ball rolling, following Portugal's Deco as the second marquee signing in the sub-continent.
The Salford-born ace, who played 718 times for United, put pen to paper on a deal to join the Indian Futsal League - of which Portugal legend Luis Figo is president.
Giggs played for United between 1990 and 2014 in an incredible career, racking up 963 appearances - netting 168 goals.
During his time at Old Trafford, the Welshman got his hands on a barely believable 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, four League Cups and two Champions Leagues to name a few, to go with a host of personal honours - including Sports Personality of the Year.
