PAUL POGBA'S deal to Manchester United is creeping closer - with Mino Raiola in the city to get the deal over the line.

According to , United are determined to make the 'decisive' move for the midfielder after word from Real Madrid that they are getting ready to finance an offer.

But Ed Woodward is ready to finance a £105million deal for the Frenchman, with Juventus poised to finance the hair-raising £79m asking price for Gonzalo Higuain through the Pogba cash.

Arsenal have been keen on the Argentina striker for some time, but Arsene Wenger has been reluctant to stump up for the huge price tag, despite their obvious need for a forward to provide competition for Olivier Giroud - and fresh cash coming from the Premier League's latest TV deal.

The Old Lady's keenness to get Higuain could be the final nail in Real's coffin over Pogba though, especially as they dither over Alvaro Morata's potential £50m sale to Chelsea.

And the speed of United's move could leave them out of the running, with Jose Mourinho's side set to fly out for their pre-season tour of Asia and Sweden this afternoon.

As SunSport reported today, Zidane has declared his admiration for Pogba, with Real ready to sink United's hopes of landing the France star.
