MANCHESTER UNITED’S £105million move for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba took another embarrassing twist after he pulled out of his medical.

The France midfielder is holidaying in America, cruising in a pink Rolls Royce, playing basketball and apparently holding out for a call from Real Madrid - while waiting for an examination planned for Miami.

However, according to Spanish AS, the doctor booked in to carry out the check-up has been told the appointment has been binned and he can continue his holidays.

United have been chasing their former academy player all summer, throwing cash at the problem due to their lack of Champions League football.

Jose Mourinho wants his fourth major signing completed ASAP and they believed they were close to completing the deal.

But super-agent Mino Raiola has thrown another curveball at desperate United and called off his client’s appointment.

The chubby middleman has already made a fortune out of Old Trafford vice-chairman Ed Woodward this summer by moving Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Premier League side.

And he still wants another £25m for taking the 23-year-old back to Manchester for a world record fee.

Now he's having another laugh at the once-great club's expense by holding them over a barrel for his prize asset by welshing on their date at the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute.

The former Carrington academy starlet had an appointment booked with Dr Italo Linfante but he’s had a call to say he’s been stood-up and he can continue his summer holiday.
