The 21-year-old was Chelsea’s No3 before Mendy arrived last summer and bumped everyone down a notch.
Cumming made 47 appearances for League Two side Stevenage on loan this season.

Chelsea’s announcement of Caballero and Blackman’s departures coincides with some new contract extensions.
Thiago Silva has had his deal automatically extended for another year.
And Olivier Giroud’s contract was given a new 2022 expiry date back in April.
