New signings Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan join Ibrahimovic in boss Jose Mourinho's 23-man squad.

The new Old Trafford manager has told nine players - including Schweiny and Januzaj - to leave as he makes room for Paul Pogba's world-record arrival.

Skipper Wayne Rooney, striker Anthony Martial and midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin could all make their first appearances following their extended post-Euro 2016 breaks.

United face the 20-time Turkish Super Lig champions in the Ullevi Stadium.

But another pitch fiasco could him them right between the eyes as pictures emerged of it in a shoddy state owing to a Bruce Springsteen concert six days ago.

Mourinho was set to renew his rivalry with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola in China last week before the match was cancelled due to the state of the turf.

One member of groundstaff at the Ullevi admitted to that the pitch needed "another two or three days' work" before being in a fit state.
