Sean Dyche: impressive Rangers challenge will prepare Burnley for Premier League
insists Rangers are the perfect opponents for Burnley as they prepare for life in the English Premier League.
The Clarets played against the Light Blues in a 1-0 friendly win last season before going on to win the Championship.
Dyche has been impressed with Mark Warburton's transfers this summer and with the Ibrox side having already played competitive games, in the Betfred Cup, the Burnley boss is expecting a tough match.
He said: “Each challenge is a different one and each one is thought of differently to get us ready for the Premier League.
“Rangers are already playing competitive games so that went into the thinking and the planning.
“Last year, it was good on and off the pitch. The feedback I got was that the fans who went up there really enjoyed it.
