Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Eric Dier look to have put England disappointment behind them as they train for Inter friendly
SPURS stars were back training at Enfield today and look to have put their England disappointment behind them.
Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier made up the backbone of the Three Lions young team in France who embarrassingly crashed out to minnows Iceland.
And despite two defeats so far in pre-season - to Juventus and Atletico Madrid during tour of Australia - Spurs looked in high spirits as they trained for this Saturday's final test against Inter.
Mauricio Pochettino's side kick-off their Premier League campaign against Everton at Goodison Park on August 13.
And the Argentine has added to his third place finishers well over the summer, bringing in Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen.
Alli looked especially sharp as the England men returned to training, not being scared to stick his boot in on a number of occasions.
Pochettino has revealed how he believes Harry Kane was made the scapegoat for England’s Euro 2016 flop.
The boss admits he was stunned by the widespread criticism his striker received during and after the Three Lions’ failure in France.
But training looked happy enough today, as Spurs plan to be major contenders in the title-race for a second-straight season, after their capitulation saw them drop to third on the final day.
