AC MILAN striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tried to live up to self-proclaimed title as a god by posting a video of him rising out of the sea.

The 39-year-old, who is currently on holiday before reporting for pre-season testing, shared a clip of him on a flyboard out in the ocean.

, he simply stated: "Rise of the GOD."

It's not the first time the ex-Manchester United centre-forward has labelled himself as a god after making the bold statement in September 2020.

Inter Milan star Romelu Lukaku took to social media after the 4-2 derby victory over Milan in February 2020, where he tweeted: "There's a new king in town."

Ibrahimovic then had his revenge when AC beat Inter in October 2020 where he scored twice in a 2-1 win.

He posted: "Milan never had a king, they have a GOD.”

And fans have poked fun at Ibra's latest post, as one user quipped: "What kind of god hasn’t won the Champions League or a trophy with their nation?"

Another messaged: "This God uses a machine to get up!"

A third joked: "Eric Cantona isn't in this video."

Ibrahimovic, who is tied down at the San Siro until 2022, had been set to feature at Euro 2020 for Sweden, only for a knee injury to rule him out of the tournament.

But he has been making the most of his free time, where he has been chilling out with Brazilian legend Ronaldo in Ibiza.

The legendary strikers shared many of the same clubs - including Inter, Barcelona and Milan - but never crossed paths.
