Chelsea ‘consider new Declan Rice transfer bid with West Ham ready to sell for £80m’ after Euro 2020 heroics for England
CHELSEA are considering making a new offer for England hero Declan Rice, according to reports.
And West Ham are reportedly willing to sell if a bid comes in at £80million or above.
Rice, 22, has rejected two substantial contract offers from the Hammers this summer amid interest from the Blues and Manchester United.
The East Londoners are desperate to tie the holding midfielder down with their vice-captain looking for more than has been on the table so far.
But having led the club to Europa League qualification last season, the Three Lions ace is not agitating for a move away.
However, his resolve may be tested with his former club Chelsea set to make an offer, according to .
Rice was released by the Blues aged 14 and immediately joined the Hammers’ renowned academy where he has been ever since.
The report claims West Ham value Rice at around £80m although previous reports have suggested the Hammers’ valuation is much higher.
Blues would reportedly have to cough up £200,000-a-week to lure Rice back to Stamford Bridge.
He has three years left to run on his current West Ham deal, with the option of a fourth.

Despite the Three Lions’ heartbreaking penalty shoot-out loss to Italy, many thought Rice was man-of-the-match before he was subbed after 74 minutes.
Many were confused by Gareth Southgate’s decision to replace him but reports suggest he had picked up a knock in the first-half.
