Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane includes son Luca in squad to face Sevilla in the Uefa Super Cup
Talented teen goalkeeper called up to replace injured Keylor Navas for Champions League winners in Tuesday's clash
ZINEDINE ZIDANE has included son Luca in Real Madrid’s squad for the Super Cup against Sevilla.
Goalkeeper Luca – who usually plays for Madrid’s under-18s team – has been called up to replace injured Keylor Navas for Tuesday’s clash in Norway.
First-choice stopper Navas is recovering from an Achilles strain, with back-up Kiko Casilla set to start for the Champions League winners.sev
Cristiano Ronaldo – still recuperating from his Euro 2016 final injury – will also be absent along with Gareth Bale, Pepe and Toni Kroos.
Karim Benzema and returning Chelsea target Alvaro Morata are set to lead the attack against Liverpool’s Europa League final conquerors.
Madrid legend Zidane – who replaced Rafa Benitez as boss last season – also handed Luca’s brother Enzo a Real Madrid debut in a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain last month.
The midfielder, 21, replaced Lucas Vazquez during a 3-1 defeat to the French champions.
Enzo was made captain of Real Madrid Castilla side last season when Zidane was still boss of the Bernabeu reserve side.
But Luca, 18, is believed to be regarded as the brightest talent of Zidane family among Madrid coaches.
