FORMER England international goalkeeper Joe Hart has left Tottenham and joined Celtic.
The experienced keeper, 34, leaves Tottenham after spending just one year at the club, making ten appearances last season.
Hart played the majority of his games for Spurs in the Europa League and the FA Cup, keeping five clean sheets in the process.
In a three paragraph statement, the club wished Hart well on his new adventure in Scotland, as Celtic look to regain the SPFL title.
It reads: "We have reached agreement with Celtic for the transfer of Joe Hart.
"The experienced goalkeeper, 34, joined us in August last year and made 10 appearances last season, eight in the Europa League and two in the FA Cup, keeping five clean sheets.
"We wish Joe all the best for the future."
Hart is believed to have signed a deal worth £15,000-a-week.
The 75-cap England international said on the move: "This is a great moment for me in my career and I am absolutely delighted to be joining a club of Celtic’s stature.
“I know just how big this club is and of the incredible support that it enjoys, and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans at Celtic Park.
“I’m looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates now and getting to work with the squad and, in particular, the other goalkeepers here.”
Celtic have also completed the signing of former Crystal Palace midfielder James McCarthy on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old has spent the last 11 seasons in the Premier League and is penning a four-year deal at his boyhood club.
