Matudi, 29, who scored seven goals last season, did not play in last Saturday's Trophee des Champions final as Paris SG thrashed rivals Lyon 4-1.
But chairman Al Khelaifi said this week they "haven't talked about Matuidi's departure".
He added: "The transfer window is finished for me. Matuidi is a pillar of the team and is under contract.
We have a good relationship.
"We are very happy of the recruitment and I think the Jese is our last signing of this transfer window, We are a good team."

Juventus are also keen on signing Matuidi for a fee around £30m as a replacement for Paul Pogba, who returned to Manchester United for a world record transfer of £89m.
Meanwhile, Jese joined the French capital club for a fee of £21.2m and was presented to the media last Monday in a press conference.
He said: "I stayed at Real Madrid for 10 years and it was time for me to move on to a new adventure.
"We spoke with Zidane, he gave me a lot of confidence, and we came to the conclusion that PSG was a better club for me."
