Traore, 20, made his Premier League debut last December and enjoyed a run in the team towards the end of the campaign.

He will be reunited with coach Peter Bosz, who he played under during a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem between 2013-15.

Traore will be available for Tuesday's Champions League playoff clash with Russia's Rostov, according to Dutch media.

Conte now finds himself a forward short going into his debut Prem season.

The Italian signed Michy Batshuayi from Marseille for £33million in July, and can still rely on the services of hothead Diego Costa.

Loic Remy has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge, though.
