The best league in the world has now a total number of seven sponsors, compared to only one - Barclays - previously.

The Premier League's market value reaches an astonishing number of £4.12billion - the highest in the world.

Another crucial number is the percentage of of foreign player in England's top tier league - 67.3 per cent, again the highest around the globe, which represents 376 players.

The Premier League's numbers

These numbers clearly means the Premier League attracts a lot of interests - some of Europe's top players and a large number of viewers with TV deals exploding dramatically this year.

This season, the bottom club will earn £100m although facing relegation. The Premier League is now a huge deal for Championships' clubs and will have a consequent influence on the English Football League.

However, the Premier League ranks third in the UEFA coefficient table - and that's because English clubs do not win the Champions League or Europa League so often.

On the other hand, LaLiga's market value do not even reaches three-quarters of the Premier League's £4.12bn. But the Spanish league ranks first in the UEFA coefficient table.

Spanish LaLiga's numbers

This is quite simple to explain - Real Madrid won 11 times the Champions League, Barcelona has five and Seville won the Europa League trophy on five occasions. This already enough.

Nevertheless, LaLiga counts 482 players with only 41.9% of foreign players - a lot less than the Premier League - but this means they have more Spanish talents, as the country's clubs do well in Europe.

But what about France, Germany and Italy.

French Ligue 1's numbers

Well, the French Ligue 1 ranks fifth in the UEFA coefficient and their total market value is very low with only £1.31bn - an explanation may be that Lyon is the only club in the French stock exchange and that most of the clubs struggle financially with the current crisis in France.

The German Bundesliga and the Italian Serie A make the middle section of the top-five world's best leagues with a similar market value of £2.07bn and £2.22bn, respectively.
