CHELSEA defender Michael Hector has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old Jamaican international becomes the Blues' 21st loanee this season having spent last season on loan at Reading.
Hector, who has now been loaned out 13 times, joined the Blues from the Royals for £4million last summer.
Eintracht had targeted the Blues’ American centre back Matt Miazga but instead turned their attentions to Hector.
Hector featured several times in pre-season under new manager Antonio Conte but the centre-back has been sent out to the Bundesliga to continue his development.
He was spotted at Frankfurt airport over the weekend being picked up by Eintracht's team manager Christoph Pruess.

Hector began his career as a trainee at Reading and spent time on loan at Irish side Dundalk, Barnet, Shrewsbury, Aldershot, Cheltenham Town and Aberdeen before establishing himself in the Royals first-team.
He made 93 appearances for Reading including last-year's loan spell but has never made a competitive senior appearance for Chelsea.
Miazga, signed from New York Red Bulls in January, is still expected to leave in another temporary move but Frankfurt’s advances for the American defender failed to pay off.
The 21-year-old is hoping for a Premier League loan while Brazilian winger Kenedy could also move to a domestic rival.
