IVAN TONEY is firmly in the sights of England boss Gareth Southgate.
And Tammy Abraham has been urged to keep up his good form for new club Roma to earn a Three Lions recall.
Brentford striker Toney, 25, has already scored twice in the Prem so far this season after hitting 31 for promoted Bees in the Championship last term.
And he impressed against Liverpool's star defender Virgil van Dijk in the Bees’ 3-3 draw with the Reds on Saturday.
Southgate said: “We were impressed with him at Brentford last year.
“We have watched him this season, so we know all about him.
“We weren’t looking to take an additional striker for this camp but he is definitely a player we are monitoring closely.
“I think he has had a really good start to his Premier League career.”

Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, 25, is in Southgate's squad for the upcoming matches against Andorra and Hungary.
But Abraham, 23, who has scored four times for Jose Mourinho’s Serie A outfit Roma so far this campaign, misses out.
Southgate added: “He has started well and I have spoken with Jose just to keep a track on that.
“He’s another player who has been with us before and we will keep monitoring those guys closely.”
