Watch incredible new FIFA 22 trailer featuring Beckham, Rooney, Mbappe and Ryan Reynolds to celebrate launch day

EA SPORTS have released a star-studded trailer to commemorate the video game's official launch day.

A raft of football superstars are included, such as David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, Kylian Mbappe and Son Heung-min.

They are joined by Hollywood celebrities Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, who have recently completed their takeover of non-league club Wrexham.

The trailer starts with Manchester United legend Beckham receiving a mysterious briefcase at his doorstep.

When the Inter Miami president opens it he finds a copy of the game, which features Paris Saint-Germain superstar Mbappe in its cover.

Once Becks puts it in his console the world opens its door to another dimension.

A number of current and former footballers, such as Mbappe, Son, Ferdinand and several Chelsea stars, are taken by hypermotion.

Wrexham co-owner and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator McElhenney is also snatched by the mysterious entity, which is not too keen on Deadpool star Reynolds and leaves him behind.

EA Sports introduce their new hypermotion model in the game which will make it all look "beyond real".

Former Real manager Zidane explains it with the following monologue: "If we are capable of duplicating reality, what makes us still human?

Today marks FIFA 22's global release, those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition got it on September 27.

The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
