Arturo Vidal also got on the scoresheet as Carlo Ancelotti's men made mincemeat of their opponents in German Cup clash

MATS HUMMELS scored his first-ever goal for Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski hit a hat-trick as Carlo Ancelotti’s side ran riot against Carl Zeiss Jena in the first round of the German Cup.

Bayern came into the match on the back of their 2-0 German Super Cup win over Borussia Dortmund last weekend.

And the Bundesliga champions hit the ground running as Lewandowski fired home after just three minutes.

The Polish hitman scored a second in the 34th minute to put his side in complete control before tying up a first-half hat-trick with a finish just before the whistle.

Midfield ace Arturo Vidal put his side four goals ahead in the 72nd minute, with Hummels heading home just five minutes later.

The defender said: "It feels very good. Scoring a goal is the best for a defender too."
