TOTTENHAM are 'open' to allowing Dele Alli to leave in January, according to reports.
After a promising start to the campaign, the 25-year-old has fallen out of favour under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Alli initially began the season as a starter, albeit in a withdrawn midfield role.
Good form in August made way for a rough patch in September - culminating in the former England star getting hooked at half-time against Arsenal.
Nuno is yet to field his No20 in the Premier League since that 3-1 defeat - and he wasn't even named among the substitutes for last night's League Cup clash with Burnley.
When Dele was out of form last season under Jose Mourinho, Paris Saint-Germain tried to sign him on loan in January.
But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy refused to sanction a deal at the time.
According to , however, his stance on allowing Alli to leave has since softened.

PSG are no longer a front-runner for his signature, having signed Lionel Messi in the summer.
But a move to Newcastle is 'realistic'.
Asked why Alli was left out after last night's 1-0 win at Turf Moor, Nuno said: "Not just Dele, it was Harry (Winks) also, they are our players, we continue to focus on getting the best out of each of our players.
"Dele is one of the cases we have to try and improve."
Quizzed if either player was in contention to play against Manchester United on Saturday, Nuno added: "We are going to travel. We have a training session tomorrow and we will assess all the players like we always do.
"They are our players so anything is possible, this is my answer."
Dele has made 262 appearances for Spurs since joining in 2015; scoring 62 goals and grabbing 61 assists.
Of those strikes, however, just two have come this season - from the penalty spot against Wolves and via the same route against NS Mura.
