SHANE DUFFY went from zero to hero when he scored the winner for Blackburn - after bagging three own goals in two games.
Twitter exploded after the Irish defender redeemed himself with an extra-time header to send Rovers into round three of the EFL Cup.

And social media lit up with joy at the news he had finally done something right on the pitch.
