JAMIE CARRAGHER was caught googling fellow Champions League pundit Maurice Edu on Wednesday night despite him being sat just two metres away.
The ex-Liverpool defender was alongside former Rangers man Edu and Sky Sports analyst Micah Richards for CBS Sports' coverage of the European games.
And it was Richards who spotted Carragher having a quick Google of Edu during their live coverage.
Richards noticed Carragher looking for information on the American, who played for Rangers between 2008-12.
Richards took a quick few pics of Carragher's iPad as he caught him looking up Edu's career history on Wikipedia.
When Carragher was called out for the blunder live on-air, he came clean as Richards hilariously fell about laughing.
The clip was then shared on social media by and attracted a great deal of reaction.
Asked about his quick Google of Edu, Carragher said: "Yeah I Googled him (Edu) before I came in - did you get me on camera?

Edu made his one and only Premier League appearance for Stoke AGAINST Liverpool when Carragher was still playing - though the Anfield hero was on the bench for the clash.

Carragher watched his Liverpool side ease to a 2-0 victory over Atletico Madrid at Anfield on Wednesday night as Jurgen Klopp's men sauntered into the last 16.
The Reds also confirmed themselves as group winners with two games to spare despite having been drawn alongside three tough sides in Atletico, Porto and AC Milan.
