Tottenham transfer news: Spurs want £21.5m Hakan Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen as agent confirms interest
TOTTENHAM want £21.5million Bayer Leverkusen midfield ace Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to his agent Spurs have made an enquiry over the 20-cap Turkey international - who is a renowned free-kick specialist capable of 'tomahawks' like Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mauricio Pochettino raided the Bundesliga club this time last year for Son Heung-min in a £22m deal.
And he appears set to now table a similar bid for Calhanoglu, 22.
Calhanoglu's agent Bektas Demirtas said: "It is true that Tottenham have registered their interest with me.”
However, any move from the playmaker to join Son at Spurs would appear hypocritical - after Calhanoglu criticised the South Korean for not returning his messages over the transfer.
