Chelsea legend John Terry compares fan’s wife to a PIG after joining Twitter
JOHN Terry compared a football fan’s wife to a pig amid a flurry of social media jibes.
The Chelsea legend, 40, immediately got stuck in after joining Twitter at the weekend.
Referring to his alleged affair with a teammate’s missus, a Newcastle fan posted: “Best make sure wife doesnt (sic) follow him.”
Terry replied: “Your (sic) safe, just seen yours on your account” — followed by a pig emoji.
Another asked Terry, married to Toni: “How many wives you banged this year JT?”
He hit back: “Ask your missus.”
He also quipped in reply to another tweet that it is, “So important to interact”.
Terry, mocked for lifting the 2012 Champions League trophy in his full Chelsea kit despite being suspended, laughed at a photo of him hoisting the US Open title with Emma Raducanu.
Fans thought his account was fake until he added a video on Sunday. He now has 150,000-plus followers.
