Watford transfer news: Sven Kums set for £8.5m move… before Hornets loan midfield ace to sister club Udinese

WATFORD are poised to net Sven Kums in an £8.5million move from Gent - before immediately loaning him out to sister club Udinese.
The Pozzo family own both clubs and Spanish outfit Granada, with the Italian chiefs set to land the uncapped Belgian midfielder, 28, on a five-year deal before making use of him in Italy.
It is likely to be a move that irritates Hornets fans - with a serious wad of cash being splashed on a player that will not be able to help them as they go in search of their first Premier League win of the campaign.
If they can clinch a deal soon it will mean they have spent over £15m in the last week - having brought in right-back Daryl Janmaat for £7m yesterday.
