GABRIEL BARBOSA has been linked with a number of clubs this summer but he looks to have finally decided that he will join Inter Milan - snubbing the advances of Leicester City, Manchester United and even Barcelona.

Reports in Italy this morning stated that 19-year old 'Gabigol' was flying into Milan to complete a move to the San Siro.

And the club's own Twitter page has shown the Brazilian starlet arriving in Milan ahead of a medical at the club.

Barbosa will not be arriving alone with the Portuguese international midfielder Joao Mario also set to join the club from Sporting Lisbon.

Inter had been linked with Newcastle United's Moussa Sissoko but the signing of 23-year old Mario would rule that move out with less than a week of the transfer window left.

Barbosa is fresh off picking up an Olympic gold medal for Brazil at the Rio Games earlier this month and he now appears keen to get his future sorted out having put the matter on hold this summer.

The forward made his professional debut for Santos in 2013 after spending ten years in the club's youth setup.

He has since gone on to make 83 league appearances for the club - he has scored 24 goals.

Barbosa has 2 international goals to his name in 4 games having made his debut for the Brazilian national team earlier this year.

Inter Milan and Juventus were confirmed to have been the only clubs to have made a concrete offer for the forward.

And that persistence has paid off with Inter getting their man despite Barcelona having a first-option to buy clause with Santos.

The Europa League draw today has seen Inter Milan drawn in a group alongside the Premier League side Southampton.

The Italian club has won the competition three times before and will hope their new signings will be effective as they look to get back into the Champions League after a number of tough and disappointing seasons for the club and it's fans.
