Liverpool turn to Christian Fuchs to solve left-back crisis after his Leicester contract talks stall

CHRISTIAN FUCHS’ talks over a new contract have stalled, putting Liverpool on red alert.
Jurgen Klopp had the Leicester left-back on his radar this summer before interest cooled.
But the Kop boss still has problems in Fuchs’ position ahead of the transfer window shutting on Wednesday.
Fuchs, 30, has had initial talks with the Premier League champions.
Leicester's manager Claudio Ranieri and captain Wes Morgan as well as Jamie Vardy, Danny Drinkwater and Kasper Schmeichel have already agreed terms.

But sources say they are struggling for a breakthrough with Fuchs, whose deal runs out at the end of next season.
The Austria full-back arrived at the club a year ago on a free transfer from Schalke and played a key role in their title win.
But he is not among the high-earners at the club.
