MANCHESTER CITY star Bersant Celina has been banned from driving and fined after being caught over the legal alcohol limit.
The 19-year-old was stopped at the wheel of his Mercedes after his girlfriend called the police following a late night row at a nearby VIP nightspot Club Liv in the early hours on Sunday August 7.
The midfielder was one-and-a-half times over the legal alcohol limit and officers told Manchester magistrates' court how they smelled alcohol on the breath of the youngster when they stopped to talk to him.
He was found to have 57 microgrammes of alcohol on his breath - the legal limit is 35mg.
The talented player pleaded guilty to drink-driving at the court, was ordered to pay a £2,625 fine, banned from driving for 12 months and had to pay an extra £255 in costs.
