Roy Keane disagrees with Michael Carrick’s post-match interview and thinks Man Utd are giving ‘jobs for the boys’
ROY KEANE disagreed 'with everything' Michael Carrick said in his post-match interview and claimed Manchester United are giving 'jobs for the boys'.
Carrick is currently filling in as temporary United boss following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And he saw his side leave Stamford Bridge with a point after holding Chelsea to a 1-1 draw.
Afterwards, Carrick told Sky Sports: "I’m disappointed actually when you're in front in a game like this to have it taken away form you like it was is disappointing.
"I’m immensely proud of the players, the whole group, the staff all week in difficult situations trying to make the best of it.
"We can't hide from the fact that it has been tough at times but we made the best of it and I'm immensely proud of how we have gone about it this week but it's a little bit of a disappointing feeling.
"We came here to win a game. We were positive in our mindset and attitude so we are a bit disappointed I can't lie. "
United were pegged back for much of the game but a mistake from Jorginho put Jadon Sancho through to open the scoring on 50 minutes.

The Italian midfielder's blushes were sparred as he converted a penalty 20 minutes later to level the game, as the points were shared.
Carrick added: "I don’t know what my opinion counts now to be honest, but yeah I don't think it was a penalty.
"De Gea made two saves which I kind of knew before he would have to make one or two, but other than that I felt quite comfortable in the game.
"I had to say of course we want to be better with ball in possession, I'm not getting carried away, we defended so well and the attitude was top from the boys, bodies on the line, tracking back so I can't fault boys one bit
"I wanted us to be dangerous on the break but they’re a good Chelsea team you know they're playing well so to come away disappointed and feel we left something out there is in some ways a positive you know."
Carrick has been at United as a coach since 2018 and kept his place after Solskjaer's dismissal.

The former midfielder is also in line to stay when Ralf Rangnick completes his expected move to Old Trafford until the end of the season.
Keane responded to Carrick's post-match comments and said: "I disagree with everything he said in that interview.
"Everything he said, he's talking about a plan, he's talking about the penalty. Of course it was a penalty, we've all looked at it. It's a penalty.
"He's talking about the players efforts, he's proud of them, he's been working with the players for the last few months.
"He was alongside Ole, he was in the dugout with Ole. And now all of a sudden he's proud of them this week and he had a plan.
"What about all of the other games they had? Why aren't they making effort in the other games? Why aren't they closing down people in the other games?"
Carrick is now set to work alongside his third United manager and Keane questioned if the club are 'getting the right people for the job'.

He said: "I get the impression at Man United for the last few years, in the back room staff and the people upstairs, it's a bit of jobs for the boys.
"Wink wink, look after each other. That's why they're eighth or ninth in the league.
"Proof is in the pudding over the next few months with whoever comes into the club.
"We hope that whoever comes in will make the right decisions and get the right people for the job.
"Not because they might know somebody or because they're a nice guy. if you want loyalty, go and get yourself a dog.
