LEICESTER have made a move for Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani - but are refusing to meet a price tag of almost £35millon.

Algeria international Slimani, 28, is thought to be keen on a move to the King Power Stadium where he would join countryman Riyad Mahrez.
