TOTTENHAM are reportedly preparing a mega-January bid for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
claims Antonio Conte has identified the 21-year-old Serb as Harry Kane’s ‘successor’.
And Spurs are ready to pounce in the next transfer window as they look to challenge for a top four finish.
Vlahovic made a name for himself last year with 21 Serie A goals.
And the 6ft 3in hitman has already struck 13 times in all competitions this term.
Vlahovic, rated at £70million, is now expected to leave Fiorentina after rejecting an extension to his current deal which expires in 2023.
And the Italian side are ready to sell him for a tasty fee this winter rather than lose him on the cheap next summer.
Vlahovic has already been linked with several Premier League teams including struggling Manchester United.

Arsenal are known to be interested, while moneybags Newcastle are keeping tabs.
However, Tottenham appear to be in pole position with Conte urging Daniel Levy to splash the cash up front.
Doubts still remain over Kane’s long-term future after his failed summer move to Manchester City.
And Vlahovic would be the ideal replacement for the England captain, while also being a suitable strike partner should Kane stay.
Tottenham had been looking at a deal for Club Brugge’s Charles De Ketelaere in January.
But with Vlahovic’s stock continuing to rise, he is now Conte’s top choice to take Spurs to the next level.
