Liverpool transfer news: Jurgen Klopp lodge £30m bid for Brazilian Olympic star Luan in fresh blow to Daniel Sturridge
LIVERPOOL have slapped in a £30million bid for Gremio striker Luan, according to reports in Brazil.
Luan caught the eye for Brazil by netting twice in their run to a gold medal at the Rio Olympics.
And in what would be yet another blow to Reds striker Daniel Sturridge, boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen on pairing him with compatriots Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho in a new-look attack.
But any deal for the player could prove complicated to get over the line with the Porto Alegre club due to third-party involvement and Gremio owning just 70 per cent of his economic rights.
However, Gremio vice-president Alberto Guerra has opened the door to a move though.
