HULL CITY are close to signing Manchester United striker Will Keane, according to reports.
The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Preston North End in the Championship, where he scored two goals in 22 matches.
He was then recalled to cover Louis van Gaal's injury crisis but suffered a season-ending injury in the FA Cup in January.
That led to the emergence of Marcus Rashford.
Keane is way down Jose Mourinho's pecking order and free to leave.
Former Manchester United assistant Mike Phelan, Hull's boss, is an admirer of Keane and has made a move to sign him, according to .
