Watch Aston Villa star Trezeguet’s ‘worst dive ever’ against Brentford as even his own fans tear into him

ASTON VILLA star Trezeguet embarrassed himself with a shocking dive against Brentford.
Villa were trailing 2-1 and in the dying moments substitute Trezeguet tried to win a penalty for his side.
He had got the better of Mads Bech Sorensen but then threw himself to the ground after feeling the slightest touch of contact on his back from Sama Ghoddos.
Trezeguet screamed out in pain and fell over in dramatic fashion, clutching his face as he writhed around on the pitch.
Brentford then counterattacked with Ivan Toney shooting wide from long-range.
But that proved to be the last action of the match so Trezeguet wasted Villa's final chance to get the ball into the box in search of an equaliser.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the incident annoyed several Villa fans and reminded others of Bernado Silva going down easily to win a penalty against Arsenal on Saturday.
One Aston Villa fan wrote: "Sick of this in football. Hate it from my club. Agree it needs post-match punishment."

Another added: "Trust me, he's got the whole fan base and probably his team- mates fuming at him right now.
"Gave the ball back to them by diving rather than building another attack."
And a third football fan said: "Yes that was embarrassing but in fairness it did not match the artistic impression performed by Bernardo Silva."
One more added: "Have they evacuated the stadium before the sniper claims anyone else?"
