ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC says “masterbrain” Jose Mourinho is the only man that could have persuaded him to come to the Premier League.

The Swedish superstar signed for the Portuguese coach this summer when he joined Manchester United on a free transfer from PSG.

Four goals in his first four games for the Red Devils have the striker an instant hit with the Old Trafford faithful.

But the 34-year-old might have been playing elsewhere had it not been for Mourinho – possibly even one of United's bitterest rivals.

Ibrahimovic revealed: "I was close to moving to the Premier League twice - once with Arsenal and then Manchester City.

"But it never happened and I don't need to play in the Premier League.

"Mourinho is the mastermind, the masterbrain.

"He knows what he needs to do to win. I learned a lot from him at Inter.
