FORMER Manchester United star Nani made an instant impact for Italian side Venezia as he came off the bench to provide an assist after just ONE MINUTE.
The 35-year-old signed for the Serie A outfit on Friday, agreeing an 18-month deal with the newly-promoted team.
And he in making his mark as he helped his new club clinch a vital point in their battle to avoid the drop.
Venezia were 1-0 down at home to mid-table Empoli with 18 minutes remaining.
In need of a fresh attacking threat, manager Paolo Zanetti brought Nani on in a bid to find an equaliser.
And it was an inspired decision from the Venezia head coach.
Just 60 seconds into his debut the ex-Red Devils man played a neat one-two with Nedim Bajrami before darting into the penalty area.
He swiftly slotted the ball into the path of fellow substitute David Okereke who lashed the ball home.

Venezia are now two points clear of the relegation zone as they look to avoid dropping straight back down to Serie B.
Meanwhile, Nani has returned to European football after three seasons in the MLS with Orlando City.
Prior to that, he enjoyed a third spell at Sporting Lisbon where he scored 12 goals in 33 games.

He also spent eight years playing in England with Man Utd, most of which was under Sir Alex Ferguson.
Nani played 230 times for the Old Trafford-based club, netting 40 times between 2007 and 2015.
He won four Premier League titles during his stint with United, as well as the Champions League and two League Cups.
