Liverpool news: New £150m Anfield Main Stand has finishing touches put to it ahead of Leicester clash

ANFIELD'S new £150million Main Stand has had the finishing touches put to it ahead of Liverpool's first home game of the season.

The Reds have four points from three games and host defending champions Leicester on Saturday evening.

Now fans will be able to watch Jurgen Klopp and Co from the impressive new build - which boosts the ground's capacity to around 54,000.

Builders were in last weekend adding the final pieces to the jigsaw - which will see another 8,500 seats added to the stand, up to 18,700 overall.

This extra room means Liverpool could see the highest home attendance since May 1977, when they drew with West Ham, according to .
