Arturo Vidal sported the haircut on Tuesday night during Chile's 0-0 World Cup qualification draw with Chile.
The Bayern Munich midfielder was a key member of the squad that won the Copa America Centario in the US in June.
Vidal later posted the image on his Instagram account.
He wrote (translated): "You can lose, win or draw!
"The important thing is to keep fighting for our dreams!
"Life and football have revenge!
"Let's go Chile!"
