ANDY KING has tipped Jamie Vardy to take out his England frustration on Liverpool this weekend.
The hitman was left on the bench last Sunday as the Three Lions laboured to a 1-0 win in Slovakia.
Leicester ace Vardy returns to club action at the new-look Anfield on Saturday and team-mate King has warned Jurgen Klopp’s men to beware. The midfielder, 27, said: “He didn’t play for England so I’m sure he will be chomping at the bit. Hopefully, he will be fresh for the weekend.”
Vardy who scored a cracker against Liverpool last season, could be partnered in attack with Islam Slimani, a £29million club-record signing from Sporting Lisbon.
And ahead of the first game in front of Liverpool’s new Main Stand, King added: “He can take some of the pressure off Vards. We’ve seen his record in Portugal so hopefully he can be a big signing for us.
