Five players who could quit Man Utd at end of season as Ralf Rangnick and Co plan overhaul including Paul Pogba
MANCHESTER UNITED could be set for a huge overhaul of their squad at the end of the season.
The Red Devils have struggled to keep everyone in their squad content due to the shear number of options at Ralf Rangnick's disposal.
And the 63-year-old may choose to offload as many as five players in the summer as Man Utd look to trim their wage bill.
Paul Pogba
Pogba's contract expires at the end of the season and he has been heavily linked with a move to a number of European giants.
Man Utd bought him back from Juventus for £89million, but now he looks set to leave on a free.
Juve, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain appear to be battling it out to secure the 28-year-old Frenchman's signature.
However, his recent return to the first team - including scoring against Burnley on Tuesday - may give Rangnick the belief that he could yet convince Pogba to stay at Old Trafford.
Jesse Lingard
Lingard looked set to depart United on loan on Deadline Day as he eyed up a move to Newcastle.
But Red Devils chiefs ended up blocking his exit after Anthony Martial left for Sevilla and Mason Greenwood was arrested.
Now the England international, who has not started a single Premier League game so far this season, is forced to wait until his contract expires in the summer.
Tottenham, West Ham and Newcastle have all been linked with a move for the 29-year-old.

Donny van de Beek
It's safe to say the last 18 months have not been kind to Van de Beek.
He arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax as one of the highest-rated talents in Europe - a creative midfielder with the world at his feet.
But he has been reduced to a bit-part role at United, providing just two goals and two assists in 50 appearances for the club.
He is now looking to resurrect his career on loan at Everton and may be keen to make that move permanent at the end of the season.
Anthony Martial
The writing was on the wall for Martial at Man Utd as soon as he publicly contradicted manager Rangnick's comments that he had made himself unavailable for the game against Aston Villa last month.
Since then he has secured a loan move to Sevilla until the end of the campaign.
But it would seem unlikely that he will return to play for United following his disagreement with the German coach.

But that was before the arrival of club legend and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
