Luiz rejoined with Chelsea in a £32million move on transfer deadline day and will look to help Chelsea finish top four
CHELSEA midfielder Mikel John Obi thinks David Luiz is a better player than ever before after his spell in Paris.
Luiz, 29, rejoined with the Blues in a shock £32million move on transfer deadline day.
And former, but now again, team-mate Mikel praised the Brazilian defender's skills have improved with his two seasons at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mikel told Goal.com: "I think we will see a much better David Luiz. He is coming into the team to help.
"He’s a great player, uses both feet and a great defender, so I think he has gone to PSG and improved his game quite a lot.
Mikel made good friend with Luiz during the Brazilian's first spell at Stamford Bridge.
And the pair are the only players left that were involved in Chelsea's first Champions League trophy when they beat Bayern Munich on penalties in 2012.
