The 19-year-old has had a busy summer with Brazil — first taking part in the Olympics and featuring in World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia.

Jesus last week played in Palmeiras’ 2-1 victory over Sao Paulo less than 24 hours after starring for the national side.

Despite a week a long travels back and forth around the country for matches at club and international level, Nobre, insisted the injury was not related to fatigue.
