‘I have to talk to the club’ – Antonio Conte hints at QUITTING Tottenham in stunning meltdown after shock Burnley loss
ANTONIO CONTE has sensationally hinted at quitting Tottenham just four months into the job.
The Spurs boss labelled Wednesday night's 1-0 loss to Burnley a 'disaster'.
Tottenham's fourth defeat in five matches followed Saturday's incredible last-gasp 3-2 victory at title chasing Manchester City.
And Conte cut a dejected figure on the sidelines at Turf Moor before saying: "I have to talk to the club.
"Maybe I'm not so good. Tottenham called me to change things - but I'm too honest.
"We are doing everything to change situation but it's not enough.
"I'm open for every decision because I want to help Tottenham.
"I'm too honest to close my eyes and continue in this way, just saying: ok, my salary is good. I've ambition".
"Four defeats out of five is not good enough. This doesn't happen to me."
The ex-Chelsea chief added: "The players are always the same. The club changes coaches but the result doesn’t change.

"I am too honest to accept this type of situation and I will make that assessment to the club.
"It’s not right, it’s not good to continue to lose. I can’t accept this and it’s not good for anyone."
Ben Mee's 71st minute header gave third-bottom Burnley back-to-back Prem victories for the first time since January 2021.
And the loss leaves Spurs eighth - SEVEN POINTS adrift of the top four.
