Tottenham expect Conte to STAY as manager despite bombshell quit hint after boss takes training ahead of Leeds clash
TOTTENHAM expect Antonio Conte to remain as manager.
The Italian’s comments after their 1-0 defeat at Burnley last night seemed to cast doubts over his future.
But Conte took charge of their training and recovery session on Thursday as he tried to rally and prepare his players for their trip to Leeds on Saturday.
He questioned his position after that shock Turf Moor defeat - the North Londoners’ fourth loss in five Premier League matches.
Spurs chiefs believe their passionate serial-winning gaffer, who hates losing, was just hitting out after Ben Mee’s header gave the Clarets victory.
Chairman Daniel Levy loves Conte’s passion and is not thought to be angry with him for making his comments.

Looking to build on their 3-2 win over champions Manchester City, the Lilywhites were undone by Mee's second half goal as Conte reacted furiously in his post-match presser.

He said: "I have to talk to the club. Maybe I'm not so good. Tottenham called me to change things - but I'm too honest.
"We are doing everything to change situation but it's not enough.
"I'm open for every decision because I want to help Tottenham.

"I'm too honest to close my eyes and continue in this way, just saying: ok, my salary is good. I've ambition.
"Four defeats out of five is not good enough. This doesn't happen to me."
Spurs travel to Elland Road in desperate need of a victory if they are to keep their slim hopes of a top four finish alive.
Conte's side currently sit seven points off fourth place Manchester United with two games in hand.
Levy believes Conte is the right man to bring trophies back to the success-starved club which have not lifted silverware since the 2008 League Cup.
