Five destinations for Neymar after star is booed with every touch during PSG match… and where he’d ‘love’ to play

NEYMAR was booed by his own fans during every touch of PSG's win over Bordeaux on Sunday.

The Brazilian scored in the 3-0 victory but both he and Lionel Messi were singled out for ridicule by the Ligue 1 leaders' supporters following their Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid.

The fraying relationship between Neymar and the PSG fans has called into question his future at the club.

And there are a number of places he could go should he choose to depart the French giants in the summer.

His contract with PSG does not expire until 2025, but that may not deter some clubs from trying to acquire his supreme talent.

Here are five possible destinations for the 30-year-old superstar.

Inter Miami

Earlier this month Neymar hinted that he could be up for a move to the MLS at some point in his career.

Speaking on , he said: “I’d love to play in the U.S, actually. I’d love to play there for a season."

Explaining his reasoning, he then went on to add: "First of all, their season is shorter, so I’d get three months vacation."

If Neymar was to move to America then the perfect destination could well be David Beckham's club Inter Miami - who have already attracted the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi.

Barcelona

Neymar may feel he has some unfinished business at the Nou Camp.

The South American scored 106 goals in 186 games for Barcelona and won a host of trophies including two LaLiga titles, three Copa del Reys and the Champions League.

However, due to the presence of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, he never completely felt like the main man in Spain.

Neymar may feel now is the opportunity to become that focal point at Barcelona - although his transfer fee and wages could prove a stumbling block given the club's financial crisis.

Real Madrid

If Neymar cannot secure a move to Barcelona, he may turn his attention towards another Spanish giant in Real Madrid.

Carlo Ancelotti's side already look set to clinch a deal for Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season.

And Neymar could opt to join his PSG team-mate at the Bernabeu - the club which knocked them out of this season's Champions League.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a long-time admirer of Neymar and felt Barcelona 'stole' him from them when he joined the Catalan side in 2013.

Manchester United

Manchester United look set to lose Paul Pogba in the summer as his contract is coming to an end at Old Trafford.

If the Frenchman does depart, the Red Devils will be searching for a new creative option at the heart of their team.

And Neymar could offer that in abundance.

The Brazilian has also not yet played in the Premier League and could see that as an enticing option in what could well be his final big money move.

Juventus

Another major European league Neymar is yet to test himself in is Italy's Serie A.

And while Dusan Vlahovic could turn out to be that man, Neymar would certainly be a welcome addition.

Max Allegri's side are currently fourth in the Italian top flight, a sizeable seven points off the top of the table.
